BIRTH CLAN RELATIONS
MATRIARCH |
About what you can expect of a Reachwitch matron, especially a Hagraven, but she hasn't led us astray or into destruction yet.
|
Sigvardr Bjartson |
My father. I'm sure I'm to blame for at least a few of his gray hairs by now, but I don't think he blames me for my nature! He's definitely been there for me and supported me, and while I do miss that I never really got to know my mother, I don't think I'm too worse off for it. Da raised me right, and the Clan is doubtless going to have a great Clanmother when Alekt and I take over!
|
Hartvig Bjartson |
Its hard to say who's the wiser one, really, between Hartvig and Protem. Alekt would say Protem I think, and sure he has all those special powers to see things none of us can, but he still doesn't have the same experience my uncle has. I love his hearty laughter, and I'm glad he and Alekt's father get along well. Things would be a lot different otherwise. Also everyone should be thanking him for what manners I actually managed to learn, because I'd probably be even more of a savage otherwise!
|
Alekt Lindetre |
Oh, where do I start with him? He's an odd one, alright, even among our Clan. I'm convinced he was born too serious. His mother is too. I'm pretty sure he might've actually shown some expression at some point, or at least more obvious expression, but gosh it was so long ago I might've imagined it. I'll admit, I was a little mean to him when we were kids, even if I do still like to brag about shoving snow up his nose. Its amazing he still tolerates me, much less agreed to marry me! But we work well together, contrary to what I'm sure people think of us and how much he must lament me. Of course I know sides to him most never will, so there's also that. I do love him though, there's no doubts about that at all.
|
Protempor Begjære |
He's pretty odd too. Maybe its something to do with who their father is. At least Protem actually smiles and laughs sometimes though, which is more than I can say for Alekt! I don't really understand everything he says, and definitely not the things he sees, but I think that's on purpose sometimes. Cryptic bastard. Our birth Clan is lucky to have him as our Seer though. He understands the heart of our Clan and holds everything together like no one else can. He's a good friend and brother-in-law.
|
"Gyr" Jaktfalk |
Alright, so I might've married Alekt, but Gyr is still my favorite. I'm pretty sure Alekt knows it too. My best man. My partner in crime! And the one who's sparred with and taught me most of what I know about fighting. He's like the brother I never had, and a bit of an idol of mine really. One day I'll learn how to throw trees like he does.
|
Brock Begjære |
He's the leader of our birth Clan, so of course I know him, even if I wasn't that close to Alekt. He's also a close friend to my uncle Hartvig. Bit of a strict and no-nonsense man, and he makes Alekt look soft by comparison. Still, I wouldn't call him unreasonable, and certainly not bad for the Clan, but you'd best know that when he gets going, you should stay out of his way.
|
Blysse Lindetre |
Don't tell this to Brock, ever, but I'm pretty sure Blysse is the only reason Alekt isn't intolerably stiff and unapproachable. She's everything opposite of what he is, and I'm more than convinced she's the reason Alekt actually has a few soft edges to him, even if they're hard to see. Also most people don't know this, but Alekt is a total mama's boy, and she's more than happy to enable that.
|
Nole |
The bitch herself! I say that affectionately though. Nole is a real cold one, but I appreciate her morbid humor and fire. Not really sure why she doesn't like Alekt though. She just shrugged when I asked.
